Step 1: On your Mac, click on Search icon at the top right corner of the screen and search for Terminal

Step 2: Enter the following command:

pmset -g

This command will open power management settings.

Step 3: Now, you need to change some configurations on your Mac by typing in each command after hitting Enter button.

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 25

sudo pmset -a standby 1

sudo pmset -a standbydelaylow 60

sudo pmset -a standbydelayhigh 60

Now, simply check your result. You will see that your MacBook will not lose any 1% even when you sleep your computer.

If you MacBook gets laggy after trying the above commands, then you can enter the following commands to revert back to the default configurations:

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 3

sudo pmset -a standby 1
